My pug has been shivering on&off today.?

hey! you answered my question about my earthquake-scared doggie, and mine's a one year old pug too! anyway, i highly doubt that his not pooping is causing him to shiver, not if its only been 24 hours. i think it probably is an after effect if you live around here w/ this earthquake, especially from what im hearing on my own question on here! as far as calming them down, apparently you're actually NOT supposed to comfort them the same way you would a person. i forget the reasons, but for some reason comforting dogs during a storm or other scary time, actually SCARES them. crazy, huh? i think just let him sleep. thats what my pug is doing!
