When creating a PDF from word with a MAC it crops off some of the page?

I have Adobe acrobat installed but when I try to print out from the word file I get an error saying "The margins of section 1 are set outside the printable area of the page. Do you want to continue?" if I click yes it creates a PDF but cuts off some of the top and sides? Any one know how I can just get a PDF of the whole page I am looking at in word
