I really need help sleeping my 2 year 5 months old toddler early!!?

he sleeps no earlier than 11-12 pm daily, when he sleeps at 10 pm let's say, he'll wake up at 12 am felling all fresh and crying if i dontturn on the tv or the light, this is causing problems between my husband and i, what can i do?
