Can ual abuse make someone gay or ?

A lot of gay or biual men were molested by men as children/teens. Not most of them, but many. Why is it so easy to shape someone's ual desires while they're kids? Especially men seem to be vulnerable. ually abused women just seem to hate and have a hard time trusting people. Men, on the other hand, seem to question their uality and become very promiscuous. Or am I totally wrong?
